Icey Batch
MAKES: 8 cups, 1.2L
*Assumed knowledge of how to use your batch brewer)
EQUIPMENT
Breville precision brewer or Moccamaster
Grinder
Barrel one single origin coffee
1:16 grounds to water
Medium grind
Your favourite coffee mug or server
Paper filter (NO.4 Moccamaster papers)
METHOD
STEP 1
Weigh your coffee - 75g (1:16 water to grind ratio).
Grind to medium grind (slightly finer than raw sugar).
*the amount of coffee isn’t always the same roast to roast so adjust slightly as you brew to find that perfect drop! Remember adjust it to what YOU like, you’re the one enjoying it!
STEP 2
Place filter paper in the brew basket and rinse the paper with hot filtered water to get rid of that papery taste. Discard the water.
STEP 3
Fill the water tank with 1200ml of filtered water
Place the 75g of ground coffee into the brew basket.
STEP 4
Place Carafe and brew basket into allotted space of brewer.
Turn on machine and begin your brew.
STEP 5
Once your brew has finished its time to pour it into a carafe WHICH will allow it to breath and cool down to room temp.
For the thirsty and desperate pour directly over ice into your cup of choice.
Once room temp set in fridge and leave for a couple of hours
STEP 6
Serve over ice for that extra chilled goodness and ENJOY!

ADDED BONUS - Will last in a sealed bottle or carafe in the fridge for up to a week !
